What if my goods are damaged?

Romanoff takes extreme care to ensure that items are packed safely and securely prior to shipping. However, on occasion, damage may occur. In this event, the carrier is responsible for loss or damage since all products are sold FOB from Amityville, NY. Please take multiple digital photos of all sides of the damaged unopened crate or box to help validate your claim.

Please contact your Romanoff sales representative immediately and we will assist you with the claim. All claims must be made within 24 hours of receiving your damaged shipment, otherwise any possible claims will be void by the trucker or carrier.

Truck Shipments

It is your responsibility as the customer (receiver) to note on the bill of lading from the trucking company the package being received has notable damage such as (describe the damage you see in detail and have the driver sign the receipt and keep a copy). Please take multiple digital photos of all sides of the damaged unopened crate or box to help validate your claim.

UPS & Fedex Shipments

It is your responsibility as the customer (receiver) to note on the packing slip from the carrier the package being received has notable damage such as (describe the damage you see in detail and have the driver sign the receipt and keep a copy).
