3D Printed Pizza Could Be On Your Plate As Early As Next Year

By now you've probably heard of a lot of crazy things popping out of 3D printing machines, but even the staff at Romanoff was surprised to hear that someone was 3D printing a pizza.

BeeHex Inc is working to take this classic Italian favorite from the pizzeria to the build table with their amazing machine. Their 3D printer is equiped with three jets for laying down layers of dough, sauce, and cheese. After the pizza is assembled, the pie-to-be is slipped into an oven and five minutes later you have a piping hot personal pizza.

Even more amazing is the fact that BeeHex Inc allows users to customize the shape and size of their pizza, producing pizzas in everything from the shape of a heart to the United States of America. 

BeeHex says that restaurant goers could be eating 3D printed pizzas as early as next year.
