As Jewelers look to stock there display cases with trendy jewelry that will sell we turn to the fashion runways to identify whats trendy this season. We generated this list based on what we have seen on the fashion runways in popular locations such as New York, London, Milan and of course Paris. Since fashion does so much so influence the jewelry we wear.

1) Multiple Neck Chains
Watching Alexander wang's "tough girls", Alexander McQueen's women as well as the models of Moschino who noticed a trend in regards to the types of neckwear these models where featuring.

2) Oversize Earrings
A carry over from the spring runways, we noticed popular designers such as Louis Vuitton and Maison Margiela all keeping with the idea that "big earrings" serve as a great accessory. This look is very simply for jewelers to offer customers, just look in your cases that most likely already have oversized earrings.

3) Long Pendant Necklaces
Many well know fashion designers have chosen the 70's as a source for inspiration with their fall 2016 fashion lines. We are seeing dramatic pendant necklaces on many runway models. For example Trina Turk's, Moschino and Elie Saab, all who had there models wear big pendents on there necklaces. For most jewelers this is an easy sell and of course do not forget to encourage customers to create a layered look.

4) Yellow Gold
We saw on many runways yellow gold as a very influential part of fashion. According to Jenny Packham and Prabal Gurung who all have took European influences and other things to inspire there fashion creations. Yellow goal is the ideal metal to adorn these looks.

5) Mismatched Earrings
We saw this unique trend mostly in the European fashion shows. Fashion designers such as Simone Rocha used over-the-top crystal earrings to create a dramatic effect. where Topshop Unique's model's used mismatched hoops and dangling earrings which speaks to the fashion brands "Cool-Girl" vibe. The French and the Italian designers used similar in there collections as we saw with Salvatore Ferragamo and Christian Dior. Notice how these designers loaded their models ears with geometric pairs in varying lengths.
