CASTALDO VLT® Silicone Molding Rubber can be vulcanized at a wide range of time and temperature combinations. Its low vulcanization temperature makes it ideal for creating tough, strong, and long-lasting production rubber molds that can be taken directly from various plastic resin models.

Suggested Time & Temperature Combinations (for a typical 19mm thick mold)

  • 76°C or 170°F for 60 minutes
  • 71°C or 160°F for 90 minutes

Storage Information

During the summer months, or in very warm climates, this rubber should be kept in cold storage, such as a refrigerator or in a constantly air-conditioned room. Do not let cooled storage temperature drop below 32°F or 0°C
